This Outdoor waterproof is solution dyed; meaning that the color is not applied to surface, rather it is part of the threads used to create the fabric. The color exists all the way "through" the material. Color lasts much longer on materials that are solution dyed!

NOTE, Technically the fabric should always be classified as "Water Repellent" as no fabric can be 100% waterproof & be pliable, But with PVC Waterproof coating on one side, it really does the job of wicking water off!
